Dolph Microwave offers a line of low and high power water cooled waveguide terminations covering all waveguide sizes from WR-650 to WR-22. We have a variety of models for different power levels, ranging from a few watts to 5kW. The aluminum constructed body has been designed for optimal heat transfer, and the silicon carbide load elements are designed to distribute the power absorption over the entire length of the termination. The loads are typically cooled by natural convection and radiation, although if required, forced air cooling can be used to decrease the temperature and increase the power handling.
