RF Networks
RF (Radio Frequency) networks are telecommunications networks that use radio waves to transmit and receive data over the air. They are essential for mobile phone systems, broadcast television, satellite communication, and various forms of wireless networking. RF networks enable connectivity and communication over vast distances, supporting a wide range of applications from personal communication to global broadcasting.
Custom RF Feed Networks for Multi-Band Antenna Systems
Dolph Microwave designs and manufactures RF feed network assemblies that combine the required microwave components into one matched signal path. Published configurations include multi-port and multi-band designs with single or dual polarization.
Standard and customized builds are available. Send your Rx/Tx frequency ranges, polarization, power level, interfaces and mechanical limits for engineering review.
One Feed Network, Matched to Your RF Chain
We can build the feed network around the functions your antenna system needs, using Dolph microwave components such as a microwave feedhorn, OMT, waveguide filter, diplexer and other waveguide sections.

Published Ordering Code
The catalog gives the following ordering example for a Ku-band transceiver feed assembly.
Build the Feed Chain Around the Required Function

Polarization Split or Combination
When your network requires separate polarization paths, integrate an OMT. For circular polarization or phase-control requirements, review Dolph’s phase shifter and septum polarizer options.
Discuss the Polarization Layout
Band Selection and Tx/Rx Separation
Use a waveguide filter when the feed chain needs band selection. Use a waveguide diplexer when transmit and receive paths must be separated or combined in the network.
